Each time we release a template update, it gets a new version number and a changelog entry. Our Joomla 5 templates use version numbers like 5.4.10.4.
See which version you have
- In your Joomla administrator, go to System → Site Templates.
- Find your template in the list. The Version and Date columns show what is installed.
You can also go to System → Manage → Extensions, filter by type Template or Package, and read the version there.
Compare it with the latest release
- Every template has a changelog page that lists each release and what changed. See all changelogs.
- The template's own page also shows the current version and its release date.
Get the update
Log in and download the new template package from My Downloads while your downloads are active. Take a backup first, then install the package through System → Install → Extensions. Where can I download the updated version.
